PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ROLE PLAYING TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN TEKS NEGOSIASI PADA SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 1 PURWADADI TAHUN AJARAN 2022/2023

Abstract

Based on the data that has been obtained, this research is motivated by several reasons including the following: (1) Students are still shy, passive and inactive during the learning process. (2) Lack of students' understanding of learning negotiating text. (3) Students' lack of confidence in conveying their thoughts and ideas orally. (4) The need for an interesting learning model to improve students' speaking skills in learning negotiating text. Therefore, there are still many students who do not understand about learning negotiating text. Thus, researchers are looking for solutions to the problems experienced by students in learning negotiating texts by using the Role Playing learning model. The aims of this research include the following: To describe the skills of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Purwadadi in learning negotiating text. Describe the skills of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Purwadadi in learning negotiating text using the Role Playing learning model. Describe the effect of the Role Playing learning model on class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Purwadadi in learning negotiating text. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with the type of experimental research method, the experimental research method is an action or observation to seek the effect of a deliberate treatment. The research design used was the One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Data obtained through interviews, observation, giving tests, the type of test used in this study was oral in the form of (initial test) pretest and (final test) posttest, and documentation. Based on the results of the average calculation using SPSS 23. Learning negotiating text in class X using the Role Playing learning model. When viewed from the average value (pretest) pretest before being given treatment is 57.67 and the average value (final test) posttest after being given treatment is 82. Therefore, the Role Playing learning model has proven to be effective and influential in learning negotiating text in class X SMA Negeri 1 Purwadadi Academic Year 2022/2023.
