PENGARUH POLA ASUH ORANG TUA TERHADAP PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER SISWA DI ERA DIGITAL (SD NEGERI 1 CITANGLAR)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of parenting patterns on character formation in the digital era of students at Citanglar 1 Public Elementary School. The digital era brings significant changes in children's interaction patterns, especially through the use of digital devices and media, so that the role of parents in parenting becomes an important factor in shaping students' character. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The subjects of the study were parents and students of Citanglar 1 Public Elementary School who were selected through a specific sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire that measured parenting patterns and student character, then analyzed using statistical analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that parenting patterns have a significant influence on character formation in the digital era. Democratic parenting patterns tend to shape the character of discipline, responsibility, and positive social attitudes in students, while inappropriate parenting patterns have the potential to lead to less disciplined behavior in the use of digital technology. This study is expected to provide input for parents and schools in improving the synergy between parenting and character education for students in the digital era.
