Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Work Life Balance and Work Motivation on employees’ Intention to Stay at Koperasi Simpan Pinjam dan Pembiayaan Syariah (KSPPS) Bina Insan Mandiri Karanganyar, both partially and to determine which variable has a stronger influence on Intention to Stay. This study employed a quantitative approach using a deductive method. The population consisted of 52 employees, and the entire population was selected as the sample using a saturated sampling technique. Primary data were collected through questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS through validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that Work Life Balance had a positive but insignificant effect on Intention to Stay, with a regression coefficient of 0.163 and a significance value of 0.076 > 0.05. Meanwhile, Work Motivation had a positive and significant effect on Intention to Stay, with a regression coefficient of 0.393 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Work Motivation also had a relatively stronger influence than Work Life Balance, as indicated by the Standardized Beta values of 0.690 and 0.223, respectively. Therefore, increasing employees’ work motivation is a more dominant factor in encouraging their intention to remain in the organization.
