ANALISIS DAMPAK KEBERADAAN STASIUN LRT KAMPUNG RAMBUTAN TERHADAP KINERJA USAHA UMKM DI TERMINAL KAMPUNG RAMBUTAN

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the existence of the Kampung Rambutan Light Rail Transit (LRT) Station on the business performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal. The background of this research is based on the development of integrated public transportation infrastructure, which provides new economic opportunities but also creates challenges for MSME actors in adapting to changes in the business environment. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation involving 10 MSME actors located around the Kampung Rambutan LRT Station. The results of this study indicate that the existence of the Kampung Rambutan LRT Station has a positive impact on MSME business development by increasing business opportunities, sales potential, customer activity, and supporting the expansion of business locations. The culinary sector is identified as the most dominant business sector with four business units because it provides products needed by residents, students, employees, and visitors. However, MSME actors still experience several obstacles, including limited capital, marketing capabilities, and technology utilization. Therefore, strengthening business capacity through improved capital access, digital marketing, and technological adaptation is needed to support sustainable MSME development around the LRT area.
