This was indicated by the fact that some children still experienced difficulties in recognizing letter symbols, distinguishing similar letters, reading syllables, understanding the relationship between words and pictures, and reading words. This study aimed to determine the extent to which the use of a Literacy Box Media made from used Cardboard influenced the early reading skills of children at Kemala Bhayangkari 03 Alai Kindergarten, Padang City. This research employed a quantitiative approach using an experimental method ehit a Quasi-Experimental design. The population of this study consisted of Group B children at Kelama Bhayangkari 03 Alai Kindergarten, Padang. The Sampling tecnique used was Cluster Sampling, wirh class B4 as the control class and B% as the experiment class, each consisting of 14 children. Data were collected through tests, observations, and dokumentation. Data analysis tecniques included the N-Gain test, normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis testing, and effect size test. The results showed that the average N-Gain score of the experimental class was 0.73, which was categorized as high, while the control class obtained an average N-Gain score of 0.36, which was categorized as moderate. Based on the hypothesis testing results, the t-value was 6.643 with a significance value of &lt;0.001. This result indicates that the significance value was &lt;0.05, meaning that there was a significant difference in the early reading skills of children between the experimental and control classes.
